Frequently asked questions about sofas and couches

Large pieces such as sofas and couches are collected by our own delivery service and brought back; we reassemble them on request. For smaller upholstered furniture we agree the way at the consultation.

No, please do not. Two or three photos by e-mail or WhatsApp are enough for a first assessment. You choose the fabric at our shop – your furniture stays with you until then. We advise by appointment only.

On four things: the size and shape of your piece, the condition of frame, springing and foam, the fabric or leather you choose, and the scope of the work – a new cover only or complete reupholstery. That is why we do not quote a flat price but make an offer for your sofa.

When we strip the piece we look at frame, springing and foam. Sometimes a new cover is enough, sometimes the structure underneath needs renewing. Wooden frames are restored by a joinery near us. Whatever is needed is in the offer beforehand.
