We are Krebes

Traditional craftsmanship meets modern designs and custom work to suit every taste – that is Krebes interior design. Traditional craftsmanship, modern furniture construction and perfect restoration of design classics are our speciality. Furthermore, we have one of the largest fabric and leather collections in the capital. Upholstery as desired and curtains made to measure – we advise you for a comfortable home, a stylish office or an inviting gastronomy. The customer is king with us and nothing is impossible with us.

  • Our company history

Robert Krebes has worked in the trade since 2001 – that is more than 20 years of experience. The company itself was founded in 2004 by Robert Krebes as a small one-man business, Krebes Raumausstattung is today a successful, medium-sized company with one shop, four workshops and 10 permanent employees. For some years now we have also been a highly regarded training company and are currently the largest trainer in Berlin for the professions of interior decorator*in and upholsterer*in. Our customer list is exclusive: politicians, actors and even the English royal family are among our clients. We furnish large hotels, trendy restaurants, clubs and even your home with equally professional interior design.

  • The glass workshop

Since 2008 our shop and workshops are located in the heart of Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. In order to offer customers more transparency and interested parties an insight into a historical craft, our workshops can be viewed through a large glass front. Every stage of production and every action can thus be followed live. Every day we restore design classics true to the original and design new, modern furniture. In 2015 we expanded the company with an e-commerce spin-off called “Mister Curtain”. This gives our customers, worldwide, access to over 12,000 fabrics for curtains, drapes, sofas and pillowcases, which we supply tailor-made.

  • Consulting with experience and dedication

Personal advice is important to us – both online and offline. We work for embassies, hotels and private clients. Together with interior designers, we create oases of well-being and unique design highlights throughout Germany. We are happy to accommodate any individual request and are always at your side as your personal advisor. Our team of experienced employees and young talents puts passion and love into every project – always for a perfect result. We regularly get inspiration for new trends and innovative ideas from our international travels and trade fairs.

  • Sustainability: Fair trade, locally implemented, organic quality

Top quality and the best results are our top priority. In our strict controls we always make sure that all our materials are produced and traded in an ecologically sustainable way and under fair conditions. All products – such as wood, fabrics and filling materials – are proven to originate from sustainable producers and suppliers in the European Union – mainly from Germany. This guarantees us high quality and short delivery routes.
