Krebes Interior Design & Upholstery is a handicraft business located in the heart of Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg. For 20 years we have set high standards for quality, all-round service and reliability and are pleased to see our traditional company continue to grow. In addition to our showroom in Schönhauser Allee, near Senefelder Platz, we have several workshops for upholstery, sewing, and furniture construction. For customers this is a special experience when they can look into the glass workshops during our work. Upholsterer (m/f/x)
For the expansion of our team we are looking for an Upholsterer full time.
Start: Immediately | Location: Berlin
What you bring:
– Interest and fun in creative craftsmanship.
– Successfully completed vocational training as upholsterer / industrial upholsterer or interior decorator.
– Craftsmanship and love of detail.
– Ability to work in a team, positive and friendly appearance.
– Commitment and motivation.
– Ability to work under pressure and flexibility, especially in busy times.
– At least good written and spoken German.
Your tasks:
– New upholstery for furniture.
– Repair upholstered furniture.
– Fill & upholstery fabrics processing (tacking, sewing, gluing, cutting).
– Complete process support up to the end product.
– Quality control of the manufactured products.

Decoration seamstress (m/f/x)
We are looking for a full-time decoration seamstress to join our team as soon as possible.
Start: Immediately | Location: Berlin Weißensee
What you need to bring:
– Interest in and enjoyment of creative craftsmanship.
– Confident handling of a sewing machine and a completed vocational training as upholsterer or interior decorator.
– Craftsmanship and attention to detail.
– Ability to work in a team, positive and friendly demeanor.
– Commitment and motivation.
– Ability to work under pressure and flexibility, especially during busy periods.
– At least good written and spoken German.
Your tasks:
– Making patterns, cutting and processing fabrics to fit precisely.
– Making cushions, curtains and upholstery covers.
– Making patterns.
